When you first open Gooofind, we generate a random ID and store it in your device's secure Keychain. This ID is never linked to your real name, email, or Apple account.
You choose a display name and avatar colour. These are visible to other players in the same game and stored on our servers.
During a hunt you take photos with your camera or pick from your library. When you submit a photo:
Photos are not used for advertising, AI training, or any purpose beyond the game. We do not automatically delete photos when a game ends. You can remove all your photos at any time by deleting your account.
We store which games you played, your photo submissions, your votes, and your points. This data lives in our Cloudflare D1 database and is tied to your anonymous device ID.
We do not collect your location or GPS data, your contacts, your browsing history, or advertising identifiers (IDFA). We use no third-party analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs.
Gooofind is for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email us and we will delete it promptly.
If you are in the EU or EEA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data. To exercise any of these rights, tap Delete account in Settings or email us at [email protected].
Deleting your account removes your profile, display name, avatar, game history, photos, and votes from our systems. Because games are shared, deleting your account also removes games you created and all data within them. We process deletion requests within 30 days.
We retain your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile and game data are removed from our database and your photos are deleted from cloud storage.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Cloudflare infrastructure is SOC 2 compliant. Your device Keychain ID is your only credential — there is no password.
We update the "Last updated" date above when this policy changes in a meaningful way. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
